This cover is offered to provide income replacement to cover the costs of monthly commitments such as mortgage / rental payments, loans and other regular monthly bills (i.e council tax, water, electricity and gas etc) following an accident, sickness or involuntary unemployment.

It is available to anyone aged over 18 and under 64 who is in good health, has been working for at least the previous six months for a minimum of 16 hours per week, and if cover is for mortgage re-payments your mortgage must be secured on your main residence in the UK.

Self-employed and Company Directors are eligible, as are Contract Workers provided the contract has been renewed at least once.

Accident and sickness cover applies after the start date of the policy and before the end date and is subject to a minimum of 30 consecutive days off work due to the same occurrence.

Unemployment cover occurs after the start date providing the mortgage, rental or commitment is new, if the commitment is an existing one then cover starts after 90 days from the start of the cover.

The free life cover provides up to 12 times the monthly benefit in the event of death or diagnosed terminal illness.

For any claim a maximum 12 monthly benefit applies.

Cover can be provided up to £1,500 or 75% of your gross monthly income, whichever is less.

For accident and sickness, or unemployment a monthly charge of £3.19 per £100 sum insured applies. For both covers a monthly charge of £4.25 per £100 sum insured applies.
